You Can Trust Us!
Our office staff wants to help you. The process of working with the DMV can be difficult. Our staff knows all the processes and procedures, and have been doing the job for years. They will answer all your questions in a friendly manner, and will act as your guide for the entire process.
Nellie is our office manager. She truly has a heart for helping. No question is too small, and no task is too large. You will feel like family, because she will give you 110% of her effort to meet your needs. She has been with us for 5 years, and has excellent organizational skills. These skills help her keep all of the instructor's schedules, and all the customer's needs in order. She also gets along well with everybody. This is a great skill when it comes to dealing with customers, those pesky driving instructors, and those demanding bosses.
Our Driving Instructors are friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Each one is highly trained in industry standard techniques, as well as our own proprietary methods of driving instruction. They will help to create a calm, comfortable and stress free environment to maximize your learning potential, and help make the experience more enjoyable for you. Each one has undergone and passed a thorough background check performed by the Department of Justice. They will arrive to pick you up for your lesson in an easily identifiable car with our name and logo on the side. Each one will also have a picture I.D. issued by our company in addition to their regular driver license and DMV issued instructor license.
Jim is our lead driving instructor, and
is also an instructor trainer. He is a retired Beverly Hills
motorcycle cop with more personality than Eddie Murphy. Everyone loves
him and his stories. He has been with us for over 13 years, and is
an expert at teaching behind the wheel driver training. He also
teaches Classroom Driver Education, and Traffic Violator School. But
don't ask him about the vehicle code. He may be the only person in
the state to have it memorized. He's also a huge animal lover, so try not to hit any critters.
Greg is committed to helping his
students be the best drivers they can be. He has been an instructor
for 7 years. He is extremely patient, and has a very calm and
soothing voice, always putting the students at ease within minutes of
the start of the lesson. He is very well liked for the relaxed
atmosphere he creates, and he does a great job teaching students to
not only be good drivers, but to pass their test.
Barry is not only an instructor with us, but an instructor trainer. He spent most of his career with the United States Post Office were he was a member of the prestigious 1,000,000 mile club (1,000,000 miles with no accidents). His attention to detail and strong desire to do everything the right way is what has earned him the spot an instructor trainer. He is also very friendly, laid back and calm. You will learn a lot from him, and have a great time while learning.
John was born to teach. He has been with us for over 14 years, and is a behind the wheel driver training instructor as well as an instructor trainer. He was previously an extreme sports enthusiast and whitewater kayaking instructor. This job does not scare him. He has an extremely logical and methodical brain which makes him an incredible communicator. We have never seen anyone who can communicate concepts as clearly and concisely as he can.
David: In case you can't read his shirt, it says, "This is what an awesome driving instructor looks like". No argument from us, and David's confidence is justified. Maybe it's because of all of his experience as a San Jose police officer, and working for the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office. Whatever it is, he is a great instructor bringing great experience to our students. He will teach you to be a good driver. He also speaks spanish!
Norm: Imagine having to spend an entire Saturday in traffic violator school. Now imagine being so thrilled afterwards that you decide to send your instructor a thank you card and a gift. Norm manages to accomplish this feat on a regular basis. He loves to teach, and it shows in his customer's satisfaction. Oh, he's also a retired police officer, so he knows what he's teaching about. He's been with us for almost 8 years, and he teaches behind the wheel driver training, classroom driver education, and traffic violator school.
Scott has spent most of his career working with teens. He was a high school AG teacher at Santa Rosa, prior to coming to work with us. Scott is also a Traffic Violator School Instructor. Years of working with teens, and his knowledge from teaching TVS makes him an outstanding addition to our team. And that's what he is, a team player. He's always willing to go above and beyond for us. And he will for you too, because he cares about making you a good driver.
Allen is Mr. Happy. He seems to always be in a good mood, and this makes him very easy to be around. He's a retired Stockton police officer, and he knows his stuff. However he seems to have found his calling in this follow up career. Not only does he seem born to teach, but he seems born to teach behind the wheel driver training. He's a great communicator, and truly enjoys being in the car and helping people at the same time.
